(Pages 1-8 take place inside the residence of James Devon and his adopted mother Patsy, which is at the edge of Hollow Pointe. It’s a little run down…)

Panel 1: A cinematic shot of the Patsy Residence from across the street. The moon is crescent to the point of a new moon. It’s a quaint little home, save for the neglected, banged-up gutters and a missing roof tile or two. A light is flashing in the large bedroom of the second floor.

Panel 2 : A grand shot of Princess resting with his eyes closed in a swivel-chair, listening to some Rolling Stones from a large radio system in the background (Song Reference: Paint it Black) blaring in the background. There’s a lava lamp glowing on the desk behind him, as well as various posters of 60’s musicians (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin etc.). The whole area around him is cluttered with books and journals. In his left hand are the Mare Shears.

Stereo: I see a red door and I want to paint it black…
Patsy (Screaming in the background): James!!! James!!! She’s here, she’s-

Mee: (WordBalloon1) Keep going…(WB2) She really, really likes it.

Panel 3: A shot of Mee’s large hands caressed over the back of Spirit Daniel’s head.

Mee: My, my, look how you dead human males are when your libidos flare…Too bad we’re different species…

Panel 4: A full body shot of Princess standing in his mother’s bedroom doorway, just having opened it. The door has slammed against the wall. His mouth his hung open in shock.

Door: Slam!

Splash Page. A full-bodied shot of Mee sitting at the left edge of Patsy’s bed, her legs crossed and her arms out in a welcoming gesture. Mee: Welcome to the party, Princess…I’m glad you’ve come, because your mother is a little too tuckered out to foxtrot…

Mee: This is my new friend Daniel…Although he just had his way with your mother’s corpse, he’s actually a friendly ghost.

Princess: (WB1) Why don’t you show me how friendly he is, waif…I got something for him.
Mee: (WB2) …You’re not supposed to have those…Who gave that to you?

Bianca (off panel): (WB2) The nightmare scared me, I can’t…

Panel 4: A quick hand shot of Donna angrily reaching over to open the glove compartment. Bianca sadly hangs her head down, moving her feet to let Donna get to the glove compartment.

Panel 5: A shot inside the compartment. A big huge bag of Heroin and Weed take up a good portion of it. There are also pills sloppily scattered here and there. Donna is taking a large black one.

Donna: (WB3) Foq the cartoons! Just down it so you can sleep.

Panel 3: A shot of Donna handing Bianca a water bottle as she struggles to swallow the pill.

Donna: (WB1) It don’t last too long, but it’s better than any ruffie on the market. (WB2) We’ll be up at Hollow Pointe by the time you wake up.

Panel 4: A shot of Bianca’s eyes fluttering. The pill is already taking affect.

(The next few pages are dream / nightmare sequences, representing a quasi-factual account of what Bianca has been going through in the last few days. Pages 14 - 20 take place at Bianca’s run down apartment in the Bronx. Page 21 takes place inside Bianca’s Hospital room. These

panels should be in a sepia tone, with 3 primary colors for distinct features. Red for lips, Black for hair, and Blue for eyes.)

Panel 1: An angled overhead shot of Olando kneeling in the shower. The water coming out of the showerhead is strained.

Panel 2: An angled frontal shot of his face. He still stares blankly, but no longer smiling. The small amount of water showering on him gives him a very sickly look.  

Panel 3: A side shot of Olando, kneeling in the tub. It’s being viewed from the bathroom door.

Panel 4: A quick shot of the shower nozzle. The water is off. Drips of water fall from it.

Panel 1: A grand shot of Bianca sprawled out on the couch, the robe she's wearing barely covering her up. She’s looking on at a television (it’s off-panel) with a blank, wide-eyed look on her face. The light of the TV shines over her. In her left hand, which is hanging limply over the armrest, is a very large black gun with a silencer on it.

TV: (WB1) The strange deaths occurring in Hollow Pointe continue, as another murder brings fear and concern to this small upstate community. (WB2) I'm Bill Chads.

Panel 2: A shot of the television, as the Channel 67 News comes on  An upper bodied shot of Mr. Chads at his news desk. There is a small news window next to him depicting a shadowed dead body, with the words 'murder' over it.

Mr. Chads: (WB1) In breaking news, the body of a young woman was found dead in her home just a few hours ago. She was apparently found in her bedroom unclothed and bloodied, with apparent signs of severe sexual trauma. (WB2) Police refused to comment on the cause of death or give out

the victim’s name due to her age. She is the fifth in as many weeks to die under these circumstances.

Panel 3: A scene depicting news footage of the cops bringing out the body of the latest victim.

Mr. Chads: (WB1) Although there are no leads or evidence suggesting otherwise, the recent deaths being linked to a serial killer or killers have not been ruled out by officials.
(WB2) This tragedy adds to the string of sexually based killings in Hollow Pointe’s  60 year history...

Panel 4: A shot of Olando walking in the room. He’s smiling, but a weary forced smile. He's wearing nothing but tight-fitting blue jeans. He's rubbing the water out of his hair.

Olando: Good bath. You should've joined me. Then again you real busy watch'n your best friend there...

Panel 3: A detailed shot of Bianca kneeling over the couch and pointing her gun at her father's left temple. She still has her blank, teary expression. Her father stands still, with a somewhat bored expression.

Bianca: Turn it back on...I want to watch cartoons now.

Panel 4: A shot of Olando pushing her down on the couch. No real effort in doing it. Bianca just let's herself be pushed down, like she likes it.

Olando: (WB1) I told you not point that shit at me... (WB2) We both know you ain't gonna use it.

Panel 5: A facial shot of Bianca lying sideways on the couch. She's crying a bit more.

Bianca: But I wanna watch cartoons now…

Donna: Time to wake up, Bianca. Been a real long time, kid...
Bianca: Who...is it?

Panel 2: A shot of Donna standing over Bianca, who is sitting up in her bed. Donna looks at Bianca very angrily.

Bianca: (WB1) D...Donna? You’re all grown now…What do you want with me?
Donna: (WB2) I'm taking ya back to the old hood wit me. (WB3) There’s some really weird shit go’n on there, and fo’ some reason yo ass got someth'n to do wit it.
Bianca: (WB4) Me? But-

Panel 3: A sudden action shot of Mee’s hand grabbing Bianca’s throat.

Panel 4: A grand shot of Mee towering over Bianca, smiling wickedly while choking her. She cocks her head to the left, playfully. She’s showing off her fangs.

Mee: (WB1) Did you think you’d just get away what you did to him!? (WB2) Daniel’s gonna settle your ass real soon, squaresville!

Panel 1: A shot of Bianca waking up in her seat again, more sudden then the last time. She’s alone, and the car isn’t moving. The passenger and driver side doors are open. Bianca is grabbing at her throat. There is a shadowy image of a mare behind her (Mee).

Bianca: No!!!

Panel 2: An angled shot of Bianca looking out of the passenger door, staring at a highway overpass a few feet away. Donna, Richie and Princess are hanging out underneath it.

Bianca: Where am I…

Panel 3: A closer, upper bodied shot of the three. Donna is pointing over her shoulder at Bianca's direction. Richie stands there all cool like the drug dealer he is, while Princess looking directly at Bianca off panel.

Panel 4: A profile shot of Princess walking up to Bianca, who stands completely out of the car. She's a little fearful of him, holding her fists up to her chest in fear like how a little anime girl would upon meeting a stranger, only not all cutesy. Donna and Richie stand behind him as back up.

Bianca: (WB1) I...I remember you all from when I was little. Donna and her brother Richie over there...and you're...James, right?
Princess: (WB2) Good that you remember all of us. Only nobody calls me James anymore, 'cept my momma. I like to be called Princess now.  

Bianca: (WB3) Princess is a girl’s name, you're a boy...(WB4) How come Donna brought me here?

Princess: (WB1) It because...Because...(WB2) Look, I don’t know if you’re gonna believe any of this, but I’ll do my best to explain why we had to bring you back to Hollow Pointe.
Bianca: (WB3) Okie-Dokie…

Panel 2: A shot of Princess looking intense, speaking of Mare lore. The very thought makes him a little angry.

Princess: (WB1) Have you ever heard of Mares? They’re the demons that feed off the energy that generates from our dreams. That causes the bad dreams all we have from time to time. (WB2) Most people have no idea they exist, they don't know just how many of them are out there trying to ruin the human way of life.

Panel 3: A shot of Donna and Richie taking in all that Princess is saying. They heard it all before, but it still astonishes them.

Princess: (WB1) The only people who can see mares are those who were severely abused as kids or people who have a strong connection to the spirit world. (WB2) My momma was real good at sensing ghosts and somehow learned to see mares, though she never knew how. She's the one who taught all of us to see them too.

Panel 4: A quick, shadowed shot of Princess in front of Bianca, who's backing away from him and into the car behind her.

Princess: (WB1) Recently, someone's been raping and killing women in town, which I figure you might have already heard about in the news. (WB2) My momma used her abilities to investigate the cause of it and found out that a mare with a wayward ghost named 'Daniel' was behind it. (WB3)

They somehow found out we knew what they were doing and decided to take us out…

Princess: (WB1) They ended up killing my momma and caused my house to burn down a few nights ago.... (WB2) The mare was taunting me when I confronted her, saying she was going to finish 'playing' with us soon. Your name was also mentioned. (WB3) She said she was going to help the ghost get revenge over something you did to him...

Panel 2: A shot of Princess getting in Bianca's face, Donna and Richie backing him up.

Princess: Now could you tell me just what the hell do you have to do with this!? Who the hell is this Daniel, and why does he want you dead!?

Panel 3: A grim shot of Bianca looking on with a childish ‘I didn’t do it’ kind of look on her face. Her eyes are teary.

Bianca: Daniel...

Panel 4: A sudden shot of Bianca pushing through everyone, 'escaping'. Everyone is shocked at her sudden action.

Bianca: (WB1) You’re all crazy! I didn’t do anything to anybody…And…And…(WB2) Demons and Ghosts aren’t real!

Richie: (WB1) Yo, shouldn’t we be stop’n her?

Princess: (WB2) Remember, she wasn't exactly in a good state of mind before being brought here. Let what I told her sink in, then maybe we can get the info we need.
Donna: (WB3) Ain't like she can go nowhere anyways, bro. We'll tail her with the car.
Bianca: (WB4) No, no, I didn’t, no…

Princess Caption: Her reaction is obvious proof she knows something. I just hope we did the right thing in bringing her back to town, considering what happened to her when she was last here...
