It’s a little run down…) Pg1 Panel 1: A cinematic shot of the Patsy Residence from across the street. The moon is crescent to the point of a new moon. It’s a quaint little home, save for the neglected, banged-up gutters and a missing roof tile or two. A light is flashing in the large bedroom of the second floor. Panel 2 : A grand shot of Princess resting with his eyes closed in a swivel-chair, listening to some Rolling Stones from a large radio system in the background (Song Reference: Paint it Black) blaring in the background. There’s a lava lamp glowing on the desk behind him, as well as various posters of 60’s musicians (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin etc.). The whole area around him is cluttered with books and journals. In his left hand are the Mare Shears. Stereo: I see a red door and I want to paint it black… Patsy (Screaming in the background): James!!! James!!! She’s here, she’s- Pg2 Panel 1: An upper body shot of Princess, who has just gotten up from his chair. He looks panic ridden. He grips the Mare Shears with both hands. Princess: Ma! Panel 2: A side shot of Patsy’s face, an open eyed, dead expression on her face. There’s fresh trickle of blood rolling down from her severally bruised eye. Spirit Daniel’s shadow is over her face.   Mee: (WordBalloon1) Keep going…(WB2) She really, really likes it. Panel 3: A shot of Mee’s large hands caressed over the back of Spirit Daniel’s head. Mee: My, my, look how you dead human males are when your libidos flare…Too bad we’re different species… Panel 4: A full body shot of Princess standing in his mother’s bedroom doorway, just having opened it. The door has slammed against the wall. His mouth his hung open in shock. Door: Slam! Princess: ! Pg3 Splash Page. A full-bodied shot of Mee sitting at the left edge of Patsy’s bed, her legs crossed and her arms out in a welcoming gesture. She is smiling very sickly, tilting her head to the right side playfully. Hovering to the right of the bed is Spirit Daniel, looking very angry with his arms crossed. At the center of the bed is Patsy, who’s partially covered by her bedsheets. Her feet is sticking out and is hanging over the side of the bed next to Mee. Blood is staining the section over her face. At each side of the bed are tables adorned with many lit candles. You can see right through him. Mee: This is my new friend Daniel…Although he just had his way with your mother’s corpse, he’s actually a friendly ghost. Panel 3: A shot of Princess standing over Mee and revealing the shears in Mee’s face, his body shaking from anger. Mee is looking really pissed off, her legs uncrossed. The Mare Shears are pointed right in her face. Princess: (WB1) Why don’t you show me how friendly he is, waif…I got something for him. Mee: (WB2) …You’re not supposed to have those…Who gave that to you? Panel 4: A shot of Mee looking over at the corpse on the bed, her eyes glowing. Pg5 Panel 1: A shot of Patsy's corpse having suddenly jumped out of the bed, falling into Princess. Panel 2: A 'horror’ shot of Patsy looking down at her son with blood red eyes. Patsy: See what we done did? Can’t mess wit dem Mares and their ghosts… Panel 3: A close shot of Patsy's decomposed lips attempting to kiss her sons. Princess tilts his head to one side to prevent it. Patsy: Give yer momma some sweetness… Pg6 Panel 1: An angled side shot of Princess pushing away the corpse of his mother to a table with many different lit candles on it. Many of the candles fly into the air on impact. Princess: ! Panel 2: A frontal shot of Daniel and Mee floating backwards towards the open door. Mee: (WB1) Is that any way to treat your whore of a mother? (Giggle) (WB2) Show some respect young man! Panel 3: A shot of Patsy bursting into flames on contact with a candle falling onto her. The wall behind her is burning up from some of the other dropped candles. Panel 4: A facial shot of Princess looking on in anger. The walls behind him are quickly catching on fire. Princess: I swear to GOD I’m gonna kill you… Panel 5: A quick shot of Mee rolling her finger over her facial designs. Mee: (WB1) Which God , the ones you humans think exists? (WB2) You know nothing beyond your own realm... Pg7 Panel 1: A shot of Princess stumbling towards the door after Mee and Daniel, who have left the room. Smoke is hanging heavy in the room. Panel 2: An over the shoulder shot of Princess looking down his stairwell. Down in the background, Mee and Daniel are heading for the front door. Panel 3: A side shot of Mee phasing through the door backwards, her stare and smile very playful. Daniel is partially out of the door. The shadow covering moon’s dank light reflects through them. Mee: (WB1) As soon as we’re done playing with you and your other wannabe hunter friends, Bianca Santiago's next. I promised Daniel he could get his revenge for what she did to him, and I’m a mare of my word. (WB2) Catch ya on the flip side, squaresville. Panel 2: A final, near full page shot of Princess screaming up at them, while fire roars out of his mother’s window. An eerie light surrounds him and the house. Pg9 (Pages 10-13 takes place inside Donna Valen’s shitty 1980’s model station wagon. She calls it 'The Chariot') Panel 1: A shot of the Chariot rumbling fast on a freeway heading to Hollow Pointe. Panel 2: A great upper bodied shot of Bianca waking up suddenly in her car seat. She looks completely spooked, jerking her head back. Panel 3: A forward shot of Donna Valens driving, looking over at Bianca with a weird expression. Donna: (WB1) Damn, Bianca. Ya must’ve had a real fucked up dream, huh? You was mumbling a whole buncha mierda in yo sleep. (WB2) Thought I heard you say ‘Papi’ or someth’n before you woke up.   Panel 4: A shot of Bianca holding onto the middle of her chest while panting, staring at her bleeding bandage. Bianca: …I…I had a nightmare, Donna...Don’t like nightmares... Pg10 Panel 1: A quick shot of Bianca squeezing at the wound. It starts to bleed more. Panel 2: A shot of Donna swatting Bianca’s hand away from her wound. Donna: (WB1) The fuck!? Stop doing that! Bianca: (WB2) But it hurts...Why didn't they fix me... (WB3) Damn, you’re naïve. She acts as if she were a child, bright eyed and sadly happy. Bianca: Mommy liked my hands so soft, she went and cut my fingers off. She let them rot under her bed, except for two she painted red... Panel 3: A shot of Donna banging her left hand on the steering wheel in frustration. Donna: (WB1) Could you just go to sleep! Yo singing is mad retarded! Bianca (off panel): (WB2) The nightmare scared me, I can’t… Panel 4: A quick hand shot of Donna angrily reaching over to open the glove compartment. Bianca sadly hangs her head down, moving her feet to let Donna get to the glove compartment. Panel 5: A shot inside the compartment. A big huge bag of Heroin and Weed take up a good portion of it. There are also pills sloppily scattered here and there. Donna is taking a large black one. Pg12 Panel 1: A shot of Bianca looking down at Donna’s hand, as she is offering the pill to her. Bianca looks on in a fearing wonder. Donna: (WB1) Down it. It’ll knock you the foq out. High quality shit Richie Bro created. You remember Richie Bro, right? Bianca: (WB2) Um...‘Don’t do drugs’. That’s what the cartoons say. Donna: (WB3) Foq the cartoons! Just down it so you can sleep. Panel 2: A quick shot of Bianca hesitantly placing the pill on her tongue, looking to her right at Donna off panel. Panel 3: A shot of Donna handing Bianca a water bottle as she struggles to swallow the pill. Donna: (WB1) It don’t last too long, but it’s better than any ruffie on the market. (WB2) We’ll be up at Hollow Pointe by the time you wake up. Panel 4: A shot of Bianca’s eyes fluttering. The pill is already taking affect. Bianca: Can’t wait… Pg13 (The next few pages are dream / nightmare sequences, representing a quasi-factual account of what Bianca has been going through in the last few days. Pages 14 - 20 take place at Bianca’s run down apartment in the Bronx. Page 21 takes place inside Bianca’s Hospital room. These panels should be in a sepia tone, with 3 primary colors for distinct features. Red for lips, Black for hair, and Blue for eyes.) Panel 1: An angled overhead shot of Olando kneeling in the shower. The water coming out of the showerhead is strained. Panel 2: An angled frontal shot of his face. He still stares blankly, but no longer smiling. The small amount of water showering on him gives him a very sickly look.   Panel 3: A side shot of Olando, kneeling in the tub. It’s being viewed from the bathroom door. Panel 4: A quick shot of the shower nozzle. The water is off. Drips of water fall from it. Panel 5: A quick shot of him grabbing a towel. Pg14 Panel 1: A grand shot of Bianca sprawled out on the couch, the robe she's wearing barely covering her up. She’s looking on at a television (it’s off-panel) with a blank, wide-eyed look on her face. The light of the TV shines over her. In her left hand, which is hanging limply over the armrest, is a very large black gun with a silencer on it. TV: (WB1) The strange deaths occurring in Hollow Pointe continue, as another murder brings fear and concern to this small upstate community. (WB2) I'm Bill Chads. Panel 2: A shot of the television, as the Channel 67 News comes on  An upper bodied shot of Mr. Chads at his news desk. There is a small news window next to him depicting a shadowed dead body, with the words 'murder' over it. Mr. Chads: (WB1) In breaking news, the body of a young woman was found dead in her home just a few hours ago. She was apparently found in her bedroom unclothed and bloodied, with apparent signs of severe sexual trauma. (WB2) Police refused to comment on the cause of death or give out the victim’s name due to her age. She is the fifth in as many weeks to die under these circumstances. Panel 3: A scene depicting news footage of the cops bringing out the body of the latest victim. Mr. Chads: (WB1) Although there are no leads or evidence suggesting otherwise, the recent deaths being linked to a serial killer or killers have not been ruled out by officials. (WB2) This tragedy adds to the string of sexually based killings in Hollow Pointe’s  60 year history... Panel 4: A shot of Olando walking in the room. He’s smiling, but a weary forced smile. He's wearing nothing but tight-fitting blue jeans. He's rubbing the water out of his hair. Olando: Good bath. You should've joined me. Then again you real busy watch'n your best friend there... Pg15 Panel 1: An over the shoulder shot of Olando peering over Bianca's shoulder. He notices what she is watching, snatching the remote from her. Olando: (WB1) Hey, that’s the old town you were liv’n with them bastard foster parents, right? (WB2) Damn, you should be glad I saved you from that shithole. Panel 2: A quick shot of him holding the TV remote, pressing the 'off' button. Panel 3: A detailed shot of Bianca kneeling over the couch and pointing her gun at her father's left temple. She still has her blank, teary expression. Her father stands still, with a somewhat bored expression. Bianca: Turn it back on...I want to watch cartoons now. Panel 4: A shot of Olando pushing her down on the couch. No real effort in doing it. Bianca just let's herself be pushed down, like she likes it. Olando: (WB1) I told you not point that shit at me... (WB2) We both know you ain't gonna use it. Panel 5: A facial shot of Bianca lying sideways on the couch. She's crying a bit more. Bianca: But I wanna watch cartoons now… Pg16 Panel 1: A shot of Olando tossing the remote over his shoulder playfully . Olando: Sorry mami, not now. Time to make papi feel good. Panel 2: Quick shot of the remote hitting the dirty floor. Panel 3: An upper bodied shot of standing in front of Bianca, holding on to her shoulders as she turns away. Bianca holds onto the gun very tightly to her chest. Olando: (WB1) I gotta go back to work in a few hours. I need to feel good one more time before I go. Bianca: (WB2) I don’t wanna… Panel 4: A violent shot of Olando picking up Bianca by her shoulders. He is screaming at her full blast. Olando: Don’t you EVER say no to me! She has her eyes narrow, while singing. The gun's silencer is pressed tightly under her chin. Panel 3: A shot of Olando talking down at Bianca. It’s supposed to be from her perspective. Olando: (WB1) You belong to me, not God, not the Devil, ME! (WB2) You do as I say and STOP PLAYING WITH THAT FUCKING GUN! Panel 4: A shot of Bianca looking up from the bed. She is smiling sickly. Bianca: Yes papi. I won’t play with the gun no more. Panel 5: An extreme angled shot of Bianca pointing the gun to her left arm while Olando tries to stop her. Bianca: No more playing. Olando: Bianca! Pg20 (The Hospital Room) Panel 1: Next shot is of Bianca lying on a hospital bed. A bandage covers her fresh gunshot wound. She is rubbing the sleep from her eyes, as Donna stands next to her bed, her back to the reader. Donna: Time to wake up, Bianca. Been a real long time, kid... Bianca: Who...is it? Panel 2: A shot of Donna standing over Bianca, who is sitting up in her bed. Donna looks at Bianca very angrily. Bianca: (WB1) D...Donna? You’re all grown now…What do you want with me? Donna: (WB2) I'm taking ya back to the old hood wit me. (WB3) There’s some really weird shit go’n on there, and fo’ some reason yo ass got someth'n to do wit it. Bianca: (WB4) Me? But- Panel 3: A sudden action shot of Mee’s hand grabbing Bianca’s throat. Panel 4: A grand shot of Mee towering over Bianca, smiling wickedly while choking her. She cocks her head to the left, playfully. She’s showing off her fangs. Mee: (WB1) Did you think you’d just get away what you did to him!? (WB2) Daniel’s gonna settle your ass real soon, squaresville! Pg21 (Back to Normal) Panel 1: A shot of Bianca waking up in her seat again, more sudden then the last time. She’s alone, and the car isn’t moving. The passenger and driver side doors are open. Bianca is grabbing at her throat. There is a shadowy image of a mare behind her (Mee). Bianca: No!!! Panel 2: An angled shot of Bianca looking out of the passenger door, staring at a highway overpass a few feet away. Donna, Richie and Princess are hanging out underneath it. Bianca: Where am I… Panel 3: A closer, upper bodied shot of the three. Donna is pointing over her shoulder at Bianca's direction. Richie stands there all cool like the drug dealer he is, while Princess looking directly at Bianca off panel. Panel 4: A profile shot of Princess walking up to Bianca, who stands completely out of the car. She's a little fearful of him, holding her fists up to her chest in fear like how a little anime girl would upon meeting a stranger, only not all cutesy. Donna and Richie stand behind him as back up. Bianca: (WB1) I...I remember you all from when I was little. Donna and her brother Richie over there...and you're...James, right? Princess: (WB2) Good that you remember all of us. Only nobody calls me James anymore, 'cept my momma. I like to be called Princess now.   Bianca: (WB3) Princess is a girl’s name, you're a boy...(WB4) How come Donna brought me here? Pg22 Panel 1: Upper-bodied side shot of Bianca looking away as Princess explains the situation. Cars race by as they speak. Princess: (WB1) It because...Because...(WB2) Look, I don’t know if you’re gonna believe any of this, but I’ll do my best to explain why we had to bring you back to Hollow Pointe. Bianca: (WB3) Okie-Dokie… Panel 2: A shot of Princess looking intense, speaking of Mare lore. The very thought makes him a little angry. Princess: (WB1) Have you ever heard of Mares? They’re the demons that feed off the energy that generates from our dreams. That causes the bad dreams all we have from time to time. (WB2) Most people have no idea they exist, they don't know just how many of them are out there trying to ruin the human way of life. Panel 3: A shot of Donna and Richie taking in all that Princess is saying. They heard it all before, but it still astonishes them. Princess: (WB1) The only people who can see mares are those who were severely abused as kids or people who have a strong connection to the spirit world. (WB2) My momma was real good at sensing ghosts and somehow learned to see mares, though she never knew how. She's the one who taught all of us to see them too. Panel 4: A quick, shadowed shot of Princess in front of Bianca, who's backing away from him and into the car behind her. Princess: (WB1) Recently, someone's been raping and killing women in town, which I figure you might have already heard about in the news. (WB2) My momma used her abilities to investigate the cause of it and found out that a mare with a wayward ghost named 'Daniel' was behind it. (WB3) They somehow found out we knew what they were doing and decided to take us out… Pg23 Panel 1: A great angled shot of Princess, Donna and Richie (non-threateningly) surrounding Bianca, who's still holding her hands up to her chest in fear. Princess: (WB1) They ended up killing my momma and caused my house to burn down a few nights ago.... (WB2) The mare was taunting me when I confronted her, saying she was going to finish 'playing' with us soon. Your name was also mentioned. (WB3) She said she was going to help the ghost get revenge over something you did to him... Panel 2: A shot of Princess getting in Bianca's face, Donna and Richie backing him up. Princess: Now could you tell me just what the hell do you have to do with this!? Who the hell is this Daniel, and why does he want you dead!? Panel 3: A grim shot of Bianca looking on with a childish ‘I didn’t do it’ kind of look on her face. Her eyes are teary. Bianca: Daniel... Panel 4: A sudden shot of Bianca pushing through everyone, 'escaping'. Everyone is shocked at her sudden action. Bianca: (WB1) You’re all crazy! I didn’t do anything to anybody…And…And…(WB2) Demons and Ghosts aren’t real! Pg24 Panel 1: A grand shot of Donna, Richie and Princess looking on, as Bianca runs off into the night. Richie is about to chase after Bianca, only Princess holds his left arm to hold him back. Richie: (WB1) Yo, shouldn’t we be stop’n her? Princess: (WB2) Remember, she wasn't exactly in a good state of mind before being brought here. Let what I told her sink in, then maybe we can get the info we need. Donna: (WB3) Ain't like she can go nowhere anyways, bro. We'll tail her with the car. Bianca: (WB4) No, no, I didn’t, no… Panel 2, Final Panel of Issue 1: An upper bodied side shot of Bianca running. She’s crying, looking dreadfully affright, holding her hands over her ears. In the background is a facial shot of Mee. She looks on playfully happy, while her eyes frown in desire. Princess Caption: Her reaction is obvious proof she knows something. I just hope we did the right thing in bringing her back to town, considering what happened to her when she was last here...
