Panel 1: Grand shot of Petrel, and Mrs. Pietra sitting at an elegant dining table. They have begun to eat their dinner, which consists of a large cooked turkey, eggs Benedict and a side of steamed cabbage. Many candles are lit all around them.
Panel 2: A shot of Mrs. Pietra dabbing the side of her mouth with a dinner rag, looking snotty as ever.
Mrs. Pietra: It is good to know I haven't lost my abilities in the kitchen. I must tell your father though to hurry and send over our new French cook. I grow tired of having to cook all our meals. How does it taste?
Panel 3: A shot of Petrel picking at the turkey with her dinner fork. All the proper dinning utensils are to her left and right.
Mrs. Pietra (Off Panel): Young angel, children must speak when spoken to.
Petrel: ...
Mrs. Pietra: Petrel!

Panel 1: A shot of a startled Petrel looking over at her mother, dropping her fork on the table.
Petrel: Yes mother!?
Mrs. Pietra: I asked you how does your dinner taste. You did not answer.
Petrel: Its good! Very good!
Panel 2: A shot of Mrs. Pietra getting out of her chair, looking annoyed. Petrel looks over at full attention.
Mrs. Pietra: You've been daydreaming for the entire day, my angel. I would like to know what is on your mind.
Petrel: Nothing mother...I...I'm just thinking.
Panel 3: A behind the back shot of Mrs. Pietra walking away, waving her left arm in the air, as if she were swatting a fly.
Mrs. Pietra: Well then, I want you to think about clearing the table and washing the dishes. You will do this every night until the new maid arrives in a few weeks.
Panel 4: A shot of Petrel looking a little angry, gently stabbing the piece of turkey on her plate with her butter knife.

Panel 1: A shot of standing in front of her window in her nightgown, looking to see if Billy is out there. Mrs. Pietra is calling out for her in the background.
Mrs. Pietra: It is time to go to sleep, young angel.
Petrel: Yes mother...
Panel 2: A shot of Petrel lying in her bed, pulling the sheets over her body. Mrs. Pietra stands over her, arms crossed.
Mrs. Pietra: You have a lot of work waiting for you in the next day. You had better sleep well.
Petrel: Yes mother...
Panel 3: A side shot of Mrs. Pietra closing Petrel's bedroom door behind her.
Panel 4: A side shot of Petrel sitting up and looking over at the closed door, her back to the reader.

Panel 4: Behind the back shot of Billy climbing the rose awning under Petrel's window.

Petrel: You...don't think the people in this place will tease me because of the way I look?
Billy: Naw! Unlike most of the townsfolk, them colored are really good people. If anything, they'll be surprised to see an albino dance jazz.
Panel 2: A shot of Billy looking over at Petrel, who looks a little sad.
Billy: Hey, don't look so sad. We're gonna have a really good time, I promise.
Petrel: I've never done anything like this before. I'm a little worried...
Panel 3: A frontal shot of Petrel, looking down in sadness.
Petrel: I barely ever get to see what the outside world is like, all because mother is afraid of what people will think of me. I get so frustrated at times, I can barely hold in my anger...
Panel 4: A shot of Billy looking over at Petrel, an eyebrow raised in wonder.
Billy: I can tell you look like you haven't had yourself a real good time over the years. Not like what I'm gonna show you.
Panel 5: A shot of Billy holding Petrel' left hand, leading her along the path.

Billy: Welcome to what the real world is like!

Panel 2: A shot of the two entering the shack, Petrel highly stimulated by what she sees. Some of the dancers inside look over at them. The air is thick with cigar smoke.
Panel 3: A grand shot of the live jazz band playing in the middle of the shack, virtually surrounded by dancers. A female is singing up a storm.

Panel 1: A shot of Mr. Myles standing over Petrel and Billy, a large wine bottle in his hands. He looks a little drunk.
Mr. Myles: Why if it ain't my boy Billy! How're you do'n there son?
Billy: Doing right good Mr. Myles. The place is really jump'n tonight, huh!?
Panel 2: A shot of Billy putting an arm around Petrel, presenting her to Mr. Myles.
Mr. Myles: And who be this snow white you got with ya?
Billy: Her name's Petrel Pietra, she just moved into Melissa Jackson's old place.
Petrel: Hello there...
Mr. Myles: She a rich girl then, huh? Well princess, I'm very glad you came. Don't get much rich white folks around here.
Panel 3: A slightly comical shot of Mr. Myles offering the bottle of wine to Billy, who holds up his hands in protest.
Mr. Myles: You want some wine? Make you more of a man!
Panel 4: A comical shot of Miss Petunia getting between Billy and Mr. Myles, shaking a finger in Mr. Myles direction.
Miss Petunia: What's wrong with you try'n to give that little cracka boy liquor!? You try'n to get this joint closed down!?
Mr. Myles: Petunia Patsy, I was just tease'n the boy, I wasn't gonna-

Miss Petunia: Billy Jones, it's been so long since I seen you 'round here! How's yo poppa do'n?
Billy: He's do'n real fine Miss Petunia, real fine.
Panel 2: A shot of Miss Petunia giving Petrel the once-over, as she just stands there shyly.
Miss Petunia: Who's that girl you done brought here?
Petrel: My name's Petrel Pietra, mamm.
Miss: Petunia: Boy, you sure is white! You look like one of them pretty dolls rich folk give to their young 'uns!
Panel 3: A comical shot of Miss Petunia grabbing Billy and Petrel close to one another.
Miss Petunia: Now you two have yo-selves a good time! I wanna see you two hoof'n it up with the rest of us!
Panel 4: A shot of Billy leading Petrel closer towards the band. Petrel keeps her free hand to her chest. Some of the dancers are looking their way.

Petrel: I don't know if I can dance to this kind of music...I barely know how to waltz!
Billy: Don't worry, jus' look around you. Go with the music!
Panel 2: A shot of Billy dancing in front of Petrel, who stands there stiff as a tree.
Billy: Just don't stand there! Come on, dance like this!
Petrel: I can't help it! I don't think I can do this!
Panel 3: A shot of Billy pointing to a couple dancing near them. The woman is being hoisted in the air, holding hands with her partner.
Billy: I know! Let me throw you up in the air that that couple is do'n! That'll loose'n ya up!
Panel 4: A shot of Billy holding Petrel by her hips, while she keeps her hands to her chest, looking even more scared.
Petrel: No, I don't want to do that, it isn't lady like!
Billy: It's fun, don't worry so much!

Panel 3: Grand shot of Billy hoisting Petrel in the air, as she smiles in astonishment at how high Billy has placed her in the air. Many of the dancers around them cheer on, while the band in the background play their hearts out. A very magical looking scene.

Panel 1: A shot of Billy and Petrel leaving the shack, while Mr. Myles and Miss Petunia wave them goodbye from the background. Petrel is holding onto Billy's left arm affectionately.
Mr. Myles: You take care now, Billy!
Miss Petunia: Your girlie friend there can really move! She can come on over here whenever she like!
Billy: Se ya'll later, Miss Petunia, Mr. Myles.
Petrel: Farewell...
Panel 2: A side shot of the two walking back along the narrow path. Petrel still clutches Billy's arm, leaning her head on Billy's shoulder.
Petrel: I have never experienced such fun! The dancing, the band playing so loudly!
Billy: I told ya you would have a good time!
Panel 3: A shot of Petrel looking at Billy very lovingly, her very light eyes shimmering in the moonlight.
Petrel: I'm very glad you came to my window, Billy Jones. You brought to me on this one night a joy no one has ever given me.

Petrel: I've...I've never had the chance to kiss a boy before, Billy. I want you to be the first boy to kiss me, okay...

Panel2: A sudden shot of mud hitting Petrel right in the face, as Billy jerks his head back in shock.
Panel 3: A cinematic shot of The JJs standing in front of Billy and Petrel. Petrel is wiping mud from her face, while Billy 'puts up his dukes'. Amy stands firm and menacing, while Johnny and Jainy hold clumps of mud in their hands.
Amy: Why it isn't ghost girl and Billy the n****r lover!
Jainy: Hee hee hee!
Panel 4: A shot of Billy holding Petrel behind him, as he is shouting at The JJ's.
Billy: Stop call'n me that! Why the Hell are you here!? Don't you got some'n better to do?

Amy: We saw you leave'n the ghost girl's house yesterday night, and I knew you'd invite her to that jazz place! We decided to let you two have some fun and wait to get you afterwards.

Panel 2: A violent shot of Amy punching Billy across the face.
Panel 3: A shot of Petrel bending down to tend to Billy, who's been knocked down to the ground by Amy's punch.
Panel 4: A shot of Amy kicking Petrel down to the ground.
Petrel: Why are you doing thi-OH!
Amy: I done told ya yesterday that it's because I can!
Panel 5: A shot of Jainy and Johnny slinging mud onto Petrel.

Billy: Stop it now, damn it!
Amy: Awww, look at the love he has for his new ghost face girlfriend...So sweet.
Panel 2: Cinematic side shot of Jainy and Johnny walking over to Amy, who pushes Billy their way. Petrel is kneeling off the ground near the two JJ's, mud all over her.
Amy: Beat him up some more. I'm taking the ghost girl to the lake nearby and have us some quality time. Bring him to me when youre done.
Johnny: Yeah, good one!
Jainy: Clean her good!
Panel 3: A shot of Amy dragging Petrel along the ground by the front bottom of her dress. Petrel is screaming, trying to yank herself from Amy's grasp.
Petrel: Leave me alone!
Amy: Shut up! Ya shouldn't have left your cage, and now I gotta hassle ya!
Panel 4: A shot of Billy being held down by the two JJs, both holding onto an arm. He's screaming out, while the JJs smile in glee.
Billy: Petrel!
Panel 5: A shadowed side shot of Amy dragging Petrel along the dirty ground.
Petrel: Noooo! Stop it!
Amy: No way! We're gonna play a game, and it's called Dunk the Freak!

Amy: Look at you, trying to be pretty in that dress of yers. Who the Hell do ya think ya are?
Panel 3: A side shot of Amy shoving Petrel into the water.
Panel 4: A detailed shot of Petrel sitting in the water, mud running down her face. She has a very furious look in her teary eyes. She is a total wreck, not looking nowhere as elegant as she did earlier in the comic.
Amy: It's not fair that a freak like ya gets to be rich and wear pretty dresses! It's not fair at all!

Panel 4: A horrific shot of Petrel slamming the rock into Amy's face, blood splattering everywhere.
Petrel: You're right, it isn't fair!!!
Panel 5: A horrific shot of Petrel hoisting the rock in the air, Amy's blood dripping off it.
Petrel: It isn't fair that people make fun of the way I look! It isn't fair my mother keeps me in my room like I'm some sort of animal!

Panel 3: A closer view of the last panel, as she brings the rock down again.

Panel 4: Extreme frontal shot of Petrel sitting down on Amy's back, bringing down the rock one last time. Splatters of blood are all over her face and chest.

Panel 1: A horrific shot of Petrel holding the bloody rock in her hands, standing next to Amy's corpse. She has blood and mud all over her face and body. Amy's bloody head has been forced into the mud by the force of Petrel's blows. Petrel has a shocked look on her face, upon realization of what she just did.
Panel 2: A shot of Petrel letting the bloody rock fall from her hands. She is shivering from fear.
Petrel: ...Oh my God.
Panel 3: A shot of Petrel looking over her shoulder at the lake behind her, her eyes wide and kind of scary. She criss-crosses her arms over her chest, hugging herself in fear.

Panel 1: A shot of Billy trying to get up from the floor, as the two JJs are standing in front of him. His face is pretty bruised.
Johnny: We all told ya before to stay out of our forest, but did ya listen? Nope!
Jainy: You know better in not tell'n your pa about what happened here too!
Panel 2: A shot of Billy struggling to stay on his feet, using a tree for leverage.
Panel 3: A sudden shot of everyone noticing Petrel walking very slowly in their direction. She looks very much like a pale zombie.
Johnny: Haha! Amy dunked ya good, didn't she?
Jainy: Hee hee!
Panel 4: A shot of Petrel just walking past them, not acknowledging anyone. Billy is on his feet.
Billy: Petrel? Are ya...Are ya okay?

Billy: Hold your horses, ghost face! We ain't done with ya!
Panel 2: A horrific shot of Petrel looking over her shoulder at him, blood, mud and tears streaming down her face. She has a wide-eyed look on her face. Jonny's has let go of her.
Panel 3: A grand side shot of Petrel running along the forest path, leaving a trail of mud, water and some blood in the wind behind her. She has her left arm over her face as she cries, her right hand down at her waist, clenched. Kind of an innocent, yet horrific type of scene.
Panel 4: A shot of Johnny looking at a fleck of blood on his hands, a worried look on his face. Billy and Jainy stand behind him, shocked at what they just seen.

Panel 3: A horrific frontal shot of Amy floating in the lake face down, her blood mixing with the water around her. Billy just stands there in the background, his hands in his hair, freaking out. Jainy and Johnny have turned tail, running away behind him.

She has her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them and shivering from the cold. She has a wide eyed look of shock on her face. Very gritty image.
